About Us
We, Rob and Lisa Hobbs have been breeding Chesepeake Bay Retrievers for the past 4 years. We currently have four Chesapeake, our female Deadgrass Darting Dixie is 6 years old and is out of HRC's number one chessie GRHRCH UH Montauk's Gee Molly.  Dixie has the following titles HR SH and WCI, and will be completing her other titles this summer, as well as one of her puppies from her first litter, Deadgrass Blazing Sunshine, who is a two years old.  As well we have Deadgrass Skeeter's Raising Rukus  WC from Dixie's second litter, who is one year old.  This past October we added another male to our chessie family, HR Hope Springs Roughwater Sam WC to our family.    Our dogs are hunting retrievers that get hunted on a regular basis. Mostly we hunt ducks and geese from September to mid January as well as upland hunting for pheseants. As well our dogs are ran through the CKC and HRC hunting tests. 
 
We raised top quality Chessie who are excellent hunters, excellent retriever, they are friendly, great temperments, good conformation and are loyal and dependable, they are amazing house/family pets.
